Your keywords never leave your device.

What happens when you use this site

Username generation runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. The keyword you type and the names you generate are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to, or stored on, any server. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no name database.

Local storage

If you heart a name, the favorites list is saved in your browser's local storage (key: usernamegen-favs) so it survives a page refresh. It stays on your device. Clearing your browser's site data deletes it, as does the Clear button in the favorites bar.

Analytics and third parties

This site loads no third-party fonts, scripts or trackers; every asset is served from this domain. Standard web hosting logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) are kept by the hosting provider for security and operations, as on any website.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
